telling them that they don't know how to run a business doesn't help your cause any...be careful

Here's the link to the dealer page. Click on the state you are in. Find the dealer near you. Go spend your $$$. Fairly simple process.

Seems to be to kinds of people out there. Those you talk to somebody ever time they call, and those who call and call and can't ever get a hold of anybody. Seems a little strange to me.

It does seem that way. Even before the big change of ownership my dealer would call and call and get nothing so I would call and get answered immediately everytime except for once. I left a message and they called me back that afternoon.

As stated before find a dealer and purchase from them. Elite does not sell direct to customers.

Just rereading his posts sounds like this guy is wanting to become a dealer.
I agree with kydirtbag that insulting a company your wanting to deal with won't help your cause. Getting sarcastic with new members or existing members has to stop. Some people are having genuine problems with Elite and this forum maybe the only way they have of getting Elites attention. I've been in this gentleman's position where after I felt that I had exhausted all other channels I posted my issue, Kevin stepped up and we have been working to resolve the problem. The rest of the forum members went into full attack mode, to this day it has left me with a bad taste. At the end of that day I appologized for actions of mine that I felt were inappropriate and locked the thread. Latter a mod removed the thread from the site. My point is at some point somebody is going to be disappointed with the service or actions of elite in regards to themselves. Think about how you would like to be treated and treat others the same.

He lives in S. Fl and there are no dealers in the state of Fl that carries an inventory of Elites.. I know... i'm in TAMPA and also a dealer for Elite and I do not have the resources to carry an inventory.
If I can help him I will.. but, he wants a 29-30" Z so thats 1 bow & 3 different sets of cams. I'm working with another local shop that has a full retail store and will hopefully soon be stocking a few Elites.. but, right now, I can't afford to put out the cash for an inventory.

I don't understand this? Any time that I have called or tried to contact, I either get someone right away or leave a message and get a call back same day. This doesn't make sense to me that he isn't being contacted back. What kind of message is being left I wonder?:noidea: How many times has been tried?

There's always two sides to the story. Elite should have contacted him back, it makes no sense why they wouldnt... Maybe the guy has called twice and emailed once just today and now posting this up without giving Elite time to respond.:noidea:

All I know is I want to lynch somebody...its been too long.:o I vote we blame the OP...

I called Elite 4 times and left 2 messages in 2 days. On the 3rd day (today) Denny from Elite called me back. He said he was trying to catch up on answering some of the messages and that I was a "top priority."

I am having an issue with a damaged limb and I was told that I need to see a dealer or pay some money myself to have them deal with the issue directly. I will see how this works out before I comment any further.

The closest dealer for me is LAS and that is about an hour away.

More to come...

Okay people, time to take a D-E-E-P Breath!! We have went down this path several times in the past few months and it is getting a little old. We are supposed to work with our DEALER first in trying to resolve an issue---so do it! If we don't have a dealer on the corner, make the call to C/S, be POLITE, and give them time to do what they need to do. If I have an issue with my Harley, I don't expect Willie G. to drop everything and deal with me alone. Problem resolution takes time and really needs to go through the channels, and sorry to say, EAF is not part of that. I don't mean to come down on you guys and I really hope your issues get resolved quickly---I just believe that EAF is not the way to do it. 'Nuff Said!

I called Elite yesterday at 5:00 pm and they were closed for the day, I left a number for them to call and Denny called back this morning and left a message and his email to get ahold of him if I needed anything. Prety good CS if you ask me!

You sound like you're pissed at Elite for not doing something in your area.. What about being pissed at your local pro shops instead?? They are the ones not picking up the Elite line when all they have to do is make a call and become a dealer. It's YOUR LOCAL PROSHOP thats the problem.. not Elite or some furniture store guy.. Get on your pro shops butt and get them to become an ELite dealer instead of whining about not haveing a dealer close by. Elite does not put dealers in place,, Proshops BECOME dealers by making that phone call. I'm sure Dave has called all the shops in your area like
Pro Archery Specialists Inc., K B Archery, Jet's Florida Outdoors etc... Biotch at them for not being an Elite dealer not at Elite.

I don't have a pro shop that stocks Elite anywhere near me.,.. or as GOTTABOWHUNT has found out,, nowhere in the freakin Southeast for that matter.
I became a dealer back in 2006 when Elite opened it's operation due to the fact I wanted one and no one around would get me one,, I had what it took at the time to pimp the bows. You mention Elite Bows to anyone on the Florida Spotsman forum, Georgia Outdoor News forum or the Place for outdoorsman forum and i'm the guy they immediately think of.. I've sold about 2 dozen Elites around here and throughout the southeast.. I spread the word from day one and continue to do so.. If you think I should be jerked as a dealer.. then JERK ME.
I have tried to get the other pro shops in my area to carry Elite.. I have even filled out the paperwork for one shop and sent it in but he never followed up on it.
Right now i'm working a deal to sell Elites out of another Pro Shop because he does not want to but will allow me to use his shop to sell them. .sounds stupid and crazy.. BUT, if we want an Elite dealership in the South.. thats what i'm going to have to do.
Care to front me some working capital so I can buy and inventory??

Take how it sounds! You are an exception, but I will not back down from what I said! The problem in our area is can't get bows and we also have been selling Elite since 2006 they are not the only ones we carry, and basement dealers are popping up every where in our area. And with our shop going on 26 years as a full time shop, it is not getting easier with the economy. With some don't have any money invested what are they loosing? Nothing!

Actually.. I agree with you. I told my sales rep that I would happily quit when they got a pro shop around here to carry Elite.. Like I said. .I've gone out myself and visited every pro shop in my area and tried to get these shops to carry Elite bows.. I even filled out the paper work and faxed it in to Elite for one shop and he didn't follow through with it :censored2:
I don't do this for the money like you guys do.. and I'm very sorry if i've ever stole a sale from you.. I doubt it since i'm in Florida.. I do agree wit hprotected areas for dealers IF TEH DEALER IS ACTUALLY SELLING ELITE BOWS.

Are you wanting to become a dealer or are you trying to buy these bows for your individual use. Elite doesnt sell direct to the public any more you have to order a bow through a dealer. What difference does it make if he is in the furniture business if he can order you a bow.

Alot of people are forgetting that there are minimums that must be purchased. Trying to push a new bow company can be tough the first year out, especially in this economy. No one wants to speculate. The guy selling out of a furniture store; I'm sure that is better than nothing. He can probably make a better deal selling at the MAP rather than full retail because he doesn't stock alot of inventory. Less over head, better price. JMOP
