Picked up my Pulse this morning, man im one happy guy today, this thing is smoking fast my hunting arrows maxima 250s cut at 28" with blazers and 100grain tips, is shooting 299 consistant on the chrono, perfect bullet holes through paper, we swapped out the 100grain tips to 65 i believe and she shot 315 man this thing rocks is all i can say for a 6" brace height in my opinion is one of the most forgiving bows I have owned, now all i need to do is wait for tomarrow for my 12" doinker dish and hopefully wednesday ill head the the local mathews dealer since they have a 50yard indoor range, and of course just to show up those mathews fan boys:woohoo:

I've heard a lot of good things about these bows, I shot one last week and it was really fast. The guy who owned it said he chronoed it at 342 fps 60lbs, 30in draw and a 303 grain arrow. Sweet bow, I want one :woohoo:

If i bring my target inside i could squeeze in 20 yards shooting from the living room down the hall lol but im going to take it to the indoor range for now and get it sighted in before i think about doing that

Im Jealous, I just called my dealer. Mine was delayed because t one of the cams had a small burr on it apparently. So he had to order another one. Makes me wonder a bit. At least I know he is checking it over if this is the case. Who knows though he may of just dry fired my new bow and blamed it on the cam...... I know, I just cant keep these thought out of my head. I just want my bow here. It was supposed to be here last Friday. :(

I did a quick calculation on his arrow weight. I'm figuring 360grs. give or take.
I would put his IBO @ 320ish.

the Bow is 28/60 and yes my arrow are weighing in around 360grain but im not really sure, i may use a lighter arrow for 3ds but the speeds im getting now is good enough to me plus ive spent enough money the way it is already on the bow and new accessories

PS ,
I will post some more pictures tomarrow after i get the Dish put on

OK.....now that we've seen how pretty the bow is......how does it shoot?
Shoots like a dream but really havent had any time with it yet, hopefully towards the end of the week I will have it sighted in up to 40yards at the indoor range

Great looking Pulse! I'd like to hear how it groups at 50 yards. Wish mine would come in!! greenwithenvy
I wont know for sure how its going to group at 50 until most of this snow is gone up here, but looks to be a shooter for sure

Wow.... mine is 28.5/60.5 shooting 350's/125gr @ 390gr total and getting only 270fps. I do have a tube on my peep but it should not be that much slower should it? I'm also using a QAD.

Way back when I was told a tube with peep will cost you 10-12 fps atleast.

On my last bow (Ross Cardiac) with a close setup to this one, 28/65 arrow @ 390 when I went from tube peep to non tube peep I gained 4 to 5fps. The non tube turned on me on one hunt and I found out "for me" the 5fps was not worth not having the tube.

I think we just had a time warp hoytnut:) As for the safty hazard, I have used the tubes for almost 31 years without a problem..... I think I remember having one on my first bow it was some time ago:)

The tube and peep aligner will cost you 10-12 fps. Well tha't what I have was told once long ago. Why use the tube? No need IMO. Safety hazard

My buddy lost his chance this year on a 145 class whitetail because of his peep w/ tube. It somehow got tangled and when he went to sight through it, it wasn't aligned thru his sight. He had a bow camera on his bow and I witnessed the deer and his fumbling with his string. I guess lucky for me I took this deer the last day of early season.
I used to use one a long time ago but got tired of the tube dry rotting and or popping off the peep. I just had nothing but troubles with them. The more moving parts the more maintanence.IMO
Todays strings are made so much better that if you buy a quality bow and string you shouldnt get string twist. Im in no way judging you, just thought I would share my experience with them.

That's what we are all here for.... to learn from each other:) I just change my tube every year and keep it short, works for me. I will alway say use what works for you and what you feel confident in, for me I think it helps the shot!

Back on topic... Wackem are you sure your bow is only 60lbs on the scale or did you maybe get one of the 60lb bows that max out to 65/66lbs?

Edit: Just looked at my Axle to Axle and it's at 34 1/4" to the T..... Wack what is your A to A?
