What do you guys think is the best bow Elite has ever produced? I only shot 2 so I don't have an informed opinion. Although I would say GT500.

That is such a tough question.... I have only shot three different ones myself.. GT, Z28, Hunter. All three are awesome and have good qualities but I would have to say the Elite was the best!:confuzd:

Gt500. Still prefer the draw length pacific cams. I shoot the gt better than any elite bow I have put my hands on including the new ones.

To me it will always be my 2006 NVG E-500. She is and I can safely say my all time favorite bow greenwithenvy. She is the one that sold me on "ELITE" from the beginning, and I have owned several and only Elite bows since!!!!!!!!!!

I'll reserve comment till I have my Pulse. If it weren't for that I'd say the GT500.

It was in fact the GT500 that turned my attention to ELITE ARCHERY.

This was my top five (5) Bow List prior to shooting the GT500 and PURE.

Strother Archery .......... SX-1
Alpine Archery ............. Yukon
New Breed Archery ....... Genetix
Quest G5 .................... Primal
Athens Archery ............ Accomplice 34

I would have to say a franken bow for me. The Energy /Envy cam or my XXL simply because they fit my dl. My XXL /Aigil set up is right up there.

Target - 2008 XXL
Hunting - 2008 GTO

The Pulse is gaining on the GTO though. The more I shoot the Pulse, the more I like it.

Thats easy...the GTO. If it wasnt for the :censored2: court order effectively halting its production, who knows where its innovation would have taken EO(EA at the time). Lawsuits, Rex, patent infringement, yada yada...they've done nothing but force the archery world into a boring :censored2: stagnant state. ...now everything that is 'new' is really just a copy with a dif name, dif color.:(

Would a 2010 NB Cyborg with my specs in red be a good buy at $350.00? I'm really tempted to jump on that one.

You can't go wrong at that price, unless there's issues, someones not telling you about the bow.

:luck:

E500 and Envy are in a class of there own.
But the Pure is the best Elite bow for my Draw length and use. I shoot it much better then any previous Elite Ive owned. and I had a couple. lol.
I think the Ice was probably the best little bow ever to come out of Elite. If it were a longer draw its speed would be above the others. Cuda is right there also.

Not a REV cam in the list. Very nice and thank you.

There are a ton of great 2006, 2007 and 2008 bows to choose from.

Synergy fits me perfectly and is fast as :censored2: for a 7" BH.

Anybody got one they wanna sell????

Pure is a good shooter for me but it hasn't taken over the throne from my SBH Energy..... yet....That bow just has too many kills under its belt.

I never shot the GT500 for a X shooting bow.
Pure is holding its own with the XLR or the XXL so far.

Pure

I shoot them a few ( Pure , Pulse, Hunter, Z 28 , GT 500 , all #70lbs /29'' turned down to #65 ) last weekend .
All of them are amazing bows , difference is just in a personal feeling , so all of them can be the best Elite bows , hands down !

I thought to buy Pulse, but I will wait for 2012 .
Pulse is agressive bow withvery high speed , but no way one can compare draw smootnes with Pure .

Saying that , Pulse is absolutely dead in the hands after shoot and no vibration at all , might be the best hunting bow of nowdays .

Pure has some vibrations , but I can live with it .

My Pure #60 , maxed out on #64 is far more easier to draw than Pulse #70 turned down to #58 .

My next bow will be 2012 Pure with 10-15 fps on top , or 2012 Pulse with the same speed , but with smooth/ easy draw like a Pure
Am I asking too much ?? :)

Liked the Judge, pulse was great, Z28 brilliant, GT supperb and the Envy was what got me interested in elites, But I would say hands down to the Pure as the best all round bow I have owned.

It is not my intention to be argumentative, but I couldn't disagree more.

The Pulse that I shot was AT LEAST as smooth as the pure, and maybe a little smoother, and was just as easy on the draw.
I have read several opinions from other people who agree with my assessment, but have read nothing that agrees with yours.

This leads me to believe you shot a bow that had a problem.
Maybe try a different Pulse and see what you think.

Again, not to belabor the point, but there is NOTHING "harsh" or "aggressive" about the Pulse draw cycle.

No intention to be argumentative as well , it was just my experience after shooting that specific Pulse , demo bow at the shop .
But you might be right , I am going next week again , this time will spend time only with Pulse , but new one from the package , not the demo one .

Of the ones I have shot I absolutley love the Tour. Of course havent got to shoot it set up for me but just shooting it was amazing. After that I would have to say my XXLs then the Pure.

My old favs:
Z28 and the Fire

The Pulse and Hunter have possibly passed them...not real sure. I still have a Fire I won't sell and a Pulse in a few weeks.
