  • Limb Splinter! Opinions . . . . .

My fiance was shooting her Ice last night when between shots she felt something poke her in the thigh. I looked at the bottom limb and sure enough there was a splinter in the edge of the limb. I didnt let her shoot it anymore, I wanted to get some opinions on how bad it is and what we should do about it.

I know some people have repaired small limb splinters similar to this with 2 part epoxy. Could some of you experts chime in and let me know what you would do with this splinter? Repair or replace? Thanks in advance.

I would replace he limb Tater! It may be ok for a while but eventually its going to go all the way. I know from past experience.
I had an E-500 it did the exact same thing. lasted for almost a full year.
Seems like they pick the worst time in the world to finally let go to.
I thought it might be the camo coating but it wasnt.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

It's not a matter of safety with that small of a splinter but it is a cosmetic flaw. I know my GF wouldn't stand for it so I would replace anyway but that limb isn't going anwhere dangerous.

Isn't that bow still under warranty? I thought Elite had a lifetime warranty on the limbs and riser.

Glue it down and keep shooting until the new limbs arrive.

me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
