  • Christmas Dinner

What's for dinner at your house? I'm cooking my first turkey and it looks really good, only problem it's 1 1/2 hours till it's time to eat. I also have mashed potatoes and squash from the garden with steamed broccoli for the other vegetable. Coconut cream pie for dessert. Black and green olives, sliced pickled beets and venison pepper sticks for appetizers.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

We did it a little differently this year, as we typically have family arriving at various times. So rather than a formal all sit and eat affair, everyone ate at their own convenience. I cooked all day yesterday. Made a turkey, a large roast of beef and a venison lasagne. We also had munchie foods, venison bologna, slimmies etc, cheeses, shrimp, salads, lots of deserts...and Belgium white
