Default Did a little work and pic taking on my ranch

Went to my ranch today to set some stuff up.

Here is the "Alligator Stand" probably my #1 place for the upcoming season on the Farmland Pasture:

Here is the front Farmland Pasture 150ac with wheat planted. I am moving my stand across the creek to the other mott

THe farmland is what I call Kansas in Texas...all open with only 5 little oak motts on it by the 2 creeks that go through it.

THis is the Mid Texas Coastal region known for alot of farming. I tell everyone this is Kansas in Texas, but without the hills. On 600acres I only have 5 little oak mott (about 3/4 of an acre or less each) and 4 of them being on creeks (2 tiny creeks cut across the place). We also have 100acres of Riverbottom...but the 600acres of farmland yeilds more deer per acre than the Riverbottom does. Hard to believe but it is true. The two parcels are only about 2-3 miles from one another. My mom said the other day they counted over 45 deer in the front 150 ac wheat field!
