Default Swap Limbs or Cams on Aigil

I am having difficulty deciding if i want to either swap limbs on my aigil or swap to rev cams and make a ss. the bow is currently a 60-70 and I just havent built back enough strength in my shoulders/back to draw it back very easily. I'm only going to use this bow to hunt with, so struggling to draw it back makes 0 sense to me. So its either swap limbs or cams to get it to 50-60lb where I can crank the pounds down to mid to low 50s and slowly work my way back up to where I was before a nerve decided to go crazy on me.

Swap the limbs, even though the "SS" is a sweet shooting bow drawing it as a 2 cam is going to be harder on your shoulders.

swap to make SS, personally I think the dual cam at 60lb is better than a a Solo at 70lbs. the exact reason i dropped a 70lb Q2 for a 60lb Synergy. left shoulder pocket would hurt like heck when shootng the M bow.

You might want to consider costs as well. If you know how to do the work yourself, it may be a wash. For an SS, you will need a set of Rev cams ($40-$50), strings ($50-$75), a short axle (?), and if not doing the work yourself someone to do all this ($100). To lower weight you would need a set of 220 limbs which you can get used for $80-$100 and this will require nothing else.
Personally, I love it as both a solo cam and SS. But lowering it to 60lb limbs is going to seriously lower your speed while making it an SS will increase it. You should get up to 64lb draw with your current limbs.

Whats the realistic IBO on the aigil with the single cam? Luckily I have a few friends with presses, so the work only cost me in beer instead of greenbacks.

IIRC - realistic Aigil IBO is around 316 ~ 320 fps

A tune and string tweak job may squeeze a few more fps

The Aigil is the same speed ibo wise as a Bear Carnage. And they are suppose to be speed demons for single cam bows. I would do the SS conversuion if it was me. You will lose about 8-10 lbs of max draw weight and you will still gain some speed. The draw length specific rev cams are not harsh to draw at all. I ahve had two of the SS bows built and really like the bows. The SS is as fast as any other Elite model to date except the Envy.

Yeah. I like the rev cams on my gt500, just didnt know if it would be worth it to swap. guess I could always put the single cam on my gt500 and see what it does
