I have owned 5 different Elite bows and really I cannot say any of them were the worse. What I do find kinda shocking is how many on here feel the Pure is the worse! Out of all my bows, it is my favorite!

I had two Pures. I really loved the specs, but I am not a fan of big cams. Also, the not-so straigh riser always means torque... I would say any Elite with 7" or less brace is my least fav.....

As far as Elite I vote the Pure I just sold. I at least got $525 out of mine Tomkat! (I still lost money though). I just couldn't get it to shoot as well as my GT's so after two weeks of trying to make it work I sold it. Haven't missed it yet.
I am surprised with how many people are saying the Pure. I shot my highest score with it and the Z7 I had was a shooter and quiet. The fat mathews grip needs to go. That being said I still think Elite is the best thing going. The answer is quiet and very little shock plus the speed! My vote would be for the second hand XLR I bought off archertalk as the bow had a HORRIBLE left tear. But thats what you get for buying used bows some times.

I would say that it needed a shim kit. Some XLRs had wrong shims. Just sayin'

I love all the Elites I own the only ones that I don't care for aren't because of the bow themselves just the Camo they are dressed in you know that NVG camo it is like dressing a bow in a neon sign that says Hey Deer see this nuclear glow that is in this tree run away deer run away. LOL Just teasin reallyeh maybe not so much !
