I noticed it on my pulse as well. I tightened it up a bit and it went away for now. I also tried a torqueless full grip on it when I first bought it and I could never get it to fit right. It cracked by the nose and on the bottom of the grip twice.

Hmmm.....I did notice there are some cutouts in riser beneath these sideplates. I may try cutting some thin pieces of wood down to size with my scroll saw and fit them inside the cutout to give the sideplate a better base. The duct tape I have under it is too flexible and doesn't stop the sideplate from flexing.

Just got my side plates from BlindBuck and the noise is gone and so is the aggrevating click that the grip made every once in a while.

    Thanks again BlindBuck

Are these Elite sideplates or custom?

Those cutouts have been on all Elites since 2011 I believe. I would take the grips off put something heavy on them over night. Double side tape to the back and use the screw. Sounds like you guys have warped plates.JMO

What would be causing the side plates to warp? Damp weather or sweaty hands??

Nicko, have you considered trying the Elite 1 pc rubber grip? I really like mine and don't have to worry about grabbing a cold riser when hunting. Shouldn't be any noise or clicking with a rubber grip.

I never considered the rubber grip since I like the grip as is. I just want the creaking to stop. I haven't had a chance to cut some wood down to size on the scroll saw for those cutouts but once I do, I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
